As such, we are proud to be Diamond providers of Invisalign, a treatment that is used to address mild to moderate alignment issues. Whether you have an under or overbite, crossbite, gapped teeth or crowded teeth for example, we could be able to use Invisalign to achieve your results in as little as 6 to 18 months. Invisalign is a discreet and useful way of creating great smiles with a removable appliance. Our dentist Ryde will be able to examine your mouth and advise if this is a treatment option that is viable for your specific needs.

Why Invisalign?

As its name suggests, Invisalign enables patients to have their teeth realigned, whilst wearing almost invisible aligners. They are plastic and transparent, so when worn other people will only see your teeth, unless they are looking very closely at your mouth for some reason! The aligners apply pressure to move the teeth into position and may be removed for up to 2 hours a day, enabling you to have a break from them when you wish, but also to eat whatever you want to, without having to avoid certain foods for fear of damaging the aligners. You can also take them out when you are cleaning your teeth. When it comes to damaging your aligners, however, this should also be difficult to do as the plastic is highly durable and robust. Therefore, you should find that you don’t need to take time off for emergency appointments.

Another benefit of choosing Invisalign is the fact that you will have the comfort of bespoke aligners. We use iTero technology to digitally scan your mouth for the measurements required to have your aligners manufactured. We then also generate a 3D animation of what your teeth will look like by the end of the treatment, which should give you plenty to feel motivated about. You will receive sets of aligners to change between on a regular basis and then you will just need to come and see us for a check-up every 6 weeks, during which time we will give you the next lot. This should give you more free time to then spend doing whatever else you need to do – we know how busy people are!
